Dell Kit - Second Load
We took delivery of a second load of Dell kit later this afternoon.
Since we had so many Dell servers it only seemed logical to use Dell cabinets, so we got a couple of them.
They're not terribly exciting to look at, but using Dell cabinets with Dell servers will mean less messing about. If anyone has tried racking Dells into non-Dell cabinets when they've been given the wrong rail kits you'll know what I'm talking about :)

Good god man. Are you starting your own search engine??

Sure that's only part of the delivery :)
I think we're expecting another batch of servers tomorrow or Monday. The final stack should be quite impressive!

Just looking at the stack of Dells, I'd love to know if you have any Sun boxen, if so what/how many?
Curiosity as I spent 6 years there :D

We don't have any Sun machines. We might be coloing a few for other companies, but I don't recall Suns being mentioned at any stage
At this stage we have lots of Dells (see previous post for photos!), quite a few HP and Intels plus whatever brands clients have put in as colo

We're doing okay :)
Staff numbers have doubled in the last 12 months as has the office space!

Jason, the boxes you have with us are the baby brothers of the boxes you see in the photos :-)
